Life Transitions
Acknowledging transitions throughout life are important, but we often do not even recognize when we are going through one. Learning and understanding how life transitions can impact our daily life is key in getting to know ourselves better. Rather than fighting transitions, we can accept and dedicate ourselves to adapting around it.

What is a life transition?
Transitions are very common and occur a few times over the course of life to everyone. Life transitions can begin from our childhood and can continue to occur until the end of life; however, recognizing when we are going through a life transition can often be a challenge. For example, as children, we learn to sit, crawl, walk, and speak. Then, we grow a little bigger and go to school and start to interact with people, making new friends and learning new skills along the way. As we grow into teenagers, we finish high school, find our first job, and learn to drive before entering early adulthood. Then comes the completion of university, moving homes, starting and ending relationships, children and career changes. As we age, we learn to deal with illnesses, grief and loss. These are all considered life transitions. Life transitions are inevitable; however, we have the power to control how we react to them.
